Rathore shines

NEW DELHI: Captain Ravi Rathore scored four goals as Sahgal Stud beat Emerging six goals to 5 1/2 in the Rao Raja Hanut Singh Cup polo tournament at the Army Equestrian Centre here. Simran Shergill scored the other two goals for the winner. Lt. Cdr. A. P. Singh, Rakshit Agnihotri and Jagat Singh found the target for the loser, which started with a 2-1/2 goal handicap advantage.

In the Junior IPA championship, Cdt. A. Rawat smashed five goals in guiding IMA to a 6-3 victory over NDA. Group Captain A. Ghosh scored the other goal for the winner. P. S. Rathore scored all the three goals for the loser.
