Emergency landing

NEW DELHI: An Indian airline flight from Jaipur to Delhi landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport here on Tuesday evening with full emergency procedures in place following a technical snag en route.

According to sources, the flight bound for Dubai via Delhi was on its way to the Capital when the pilot detected that one of its engines was not functioning properly. He informed Air Traffic Control and sought permission to land.

Though the flight was on its way to Delhi, in view of the technical snag an alert was sounded and all emergency procedures was put into place. The flight landed safely at 8-06 p.m.
