Three new Inter exam centres in Adilabad

27,000 students to take final year exam

ADILABAD: Three new centres in Adilabad will be included for Intermediate public examination beginning March 6 taking the total number to 157. While 22,000 students will take the first year exam, 27,000 students will be writing the final year examination.

Review meeting

At a high power committee meeting to review arrangements for the examination, chaired by District Revenue Officer B. Bharathi Lakhpati Naik, Government junior colleges at Kerameri, Tiryani and Gudihatnoor, all colleges in the tribal areas have been included in the list of centres.

Security

It has also been decided to post armed guards at the distribution centres and to accompany route officers.

Seven centres of Boath, Bhainsa, Mandamarri, Utnoor, Mudhole, Bellampalli and Kagaznagar have been identified as problematic centres.

Section 144 would be imposed during the examination and all Xerox centres in the vicinity would be closed.
