Corruption case against water works official

HYDERABAD:
Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Tuesday booked a case against Deputy General Manager of the Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board (H.M.W.S.&S.B.) B. Shivaraj for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Officials said Shivaraj was found possessing properties worth over Rs. 43 lakhs after searching his two houses at Miyapur, office at Panjagutta and his brother's house at Katedan in Rajendranagar, according to a press release.
The properties included three independent houses and a flat at Miyapur, a flat at Chandanagar, three house sites at Beeramguda and a car.
Bank accounts
He had 12 bank accounts and they were yet to be verified. Shivaraj would be produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases in Hyderabad.
