Two employees face action
The district administration has decided to recommend suspension of two Government officials posted at a ration card-issuing centre in Amberpet.
According to a statement from district Collector Arvind Kumar, there were complaints that M. Tulasi Reddy and B. Yadagiri were not behaving properly with applicants.
HUDA to promote Metro Rail
The Hyderabad Urban Development Authority Chairman D. Sudheer Reddy said that HUDA would make every effort to coordinate, plan and regulate traffic system and encourage people to travel in Metro Rail. He was responding to Chief Minister's announcement of introducing Metro Rail for city in Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
Auctions conclude
The week-long HUDA auctions conducted for sale of leftover plots in various layouts in the city concluded on Tuesday. The auctions that commenced on February 21 for 345 residential and a few commercial plots in Nandagiri Hills, Miyapur, Asifnagar, Nalagandla, Chitra layout in Saroornagar, Neknampur and R.C. Puram yielded Rs. 355.4 crores.
