Pastor attacked

HYDERABAD: A gang of unidentified persons have attacked a pastor Jacob, 43, with iron rods near his house at Badangpet village under Vanasthalipuram police station limits on Tuesday night. The pastor sustained head injuries and was shifted to nearby private hospital. Confirming the attack, Vanasthalipuram Inspector Sidda Reddy told The Hindu that the unidentified persons rounded up the pastor in darkness and hit him on his head and fled after he shouted for help. He was reportedly attacked earlier also. Reasons behind the assault were not yet known.
