Takes serious note of reported assault on police constable by a corporator

HYDERABAD: The High Court has taken a serious note of the reports wherein it was alleged that a Corporator assaulted a police constable who insisted on implementation of helmet rule.

The Bench directed the Commissioner of Police to submit a report by next week.

The Bench deprecated the attitude of persons who have been elected by the people, taking law into their hands.
