NEW DELHI: In view of a rally announced by Jamat-e-Ulema Hind at Ramlila Grounds here on Wednesday, in which several Ulema leaders and a large number of others are expected to participate, the Delhi traffic police have made elaborate arrangements. All buses carrying rallyists from the various States would be given a rally sticker when they enter the Capital. They would then be directed to take Outer Ring Road and reach Rajghat. Parking facility for these buses has been provided at Mata Sundari complex and at Indira Gandhi Indoor stadium. During the course of the rally, goods vehicles would not be allowed to ply on Ring Road between Nizamuddin bridge and Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at Kashmere Gate. All such vehicles would be diverted across the Yamuna. Regular bus services have also been curtailed or re-routed to avoid congestion in the area. No inter-State bus will be allowed to ply between ISBTs at Kashmere Gate and Sarai Kale Khan during this period. The traffic police have requested motorists to avoid Ring Road (ISBT to Nizamuddin bridge), Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, Deshbandhu Gupta Road, Subhash Marg, Asaf Ali Road and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg between 9-30 a.m. to 2-30 p.m.
