IT firm alleges misuse of its name

HYDERABAD: Virtusa, a global provider of software technology and IT-related services, has lodged a complaint with the police stating that certain persons were allegedly issuing forged letters of appointment to the company for their own profits.

In a press release, Virtusa managing director (Asia Operations) Keith Modder said the police had identified a suspect who has misused information relating to Virtusa in his possession. The police have also booked one person claiming to be a Virtusa representative conducting job interviews at a hotel in the city.
