Wins moot court contest

KOCHI: The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) has won the best team award at the 10th All-India Moot Court competition held at University Law College in Bangalore. Rohith Rajendran, Mridul M. Kumbalath and Sarah Ann Abraham represented NUALS in the competition. — Staff Reporter

Painting `protest'

Kochi: Paintings by children were exhibited on Wednesday as part of a month-long protest organised by Save Indal Trade Union Samithi demanding re-opening of the Hindalco smelter unit at Alupuram here. Noted artist T. Kaladharan inaugurated the event. — Staff Reporter

Kochi Refineries gesture

Kochi: Kochi Refineries will supply computer and other electronic equipment to the Primary Health Centre at Mulavukad, K.V. Thomas, MLA, said in a release. He said that Kottayam Medical College authorities had agreed to provide trainees for the physiotherapy unit at the centre. — Staff Reporter

New KSRTC service
