TTD's `Srinivasa Kalyanam' on Sunday

One lakh devotees were expected to attend the function

CHENNAI: The Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams will organise `Srinivasa Kalyana Uthsavam' here on Sunday, March 5, 2006 from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. The Uthsavam will be held at the open ground, behind Koyambedu market. Addressing media persons on Wednesday, A.V. Dharma Reddy, Joint Executive Officer, TTD said nearly one lakh devotees were expected to attend the function.

"We are bringing Utsava moorthies from Tirumala. Temple priests will also be coming specially for the occasion," he said. The event was being organised near the Koyambedu bus terminus so that devotees have no difficulty in commuting, he said.
