MoU for construction of houses signed

Pondicherry: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Rotary Inernational District 9800, Rotary International District 2980 and Solidarity Fund on the one hand and the Pondicherry Government on Wednesday for construction of 45 houses in Paravaipet in Karaikal by the Rotary International organization.

A release from Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner of Pondicherry B V Selvaraj said here later that each of the houses would be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.5 lakhs and in all Rs 68 lakhs would be spent by the organisation.
