Ban orders issued around exam centres

MADIKERI: Kodagu Deputy Commissioner Subodh Yadav has promulgated ban orders within a 200-metre radius around SSLC examination centres in Kodagu district from March 16 to 23. Orders will not apply on holidays.

An official press release here said that he has also ordered closure of Xerox shops, which are located within a 100-metre radius around such centres, on examination days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Examination centres in Madikeri taluk include Government Junior College, St. Joseph's Convent and Government Model Primary School. Government Junior College, Napoklu, Aruna Pre-university College, Cherambane, Murnad High School, Murnad, Siddapur High School, Siddapur, and Sampaje Pre-university College, Sampaje. The centres in Somwarpet taluk are, Government Junior College and St. Joseph's High School, Fatima High School, Kushalnagar, Junior College, Shanivarasante, Hebbale Junior College, Sunticoppa Government Junior College, Kushalnagar Government Junior College, Kodlipet Government Junior College, Sacred Hearts High School at Shanivarasante and Government High School at Nellihudikeri.

Examination centres in Virajpet taluk are: Virajpet Government Junior College, Ponnampet Government Junior College, St. Anne's School.

Government High School, Gonicoppa, J.P.N. Girls' High School, Vijayalakshmi Pre-university College, Balele, Srimangala Pre-university College, Srimangala, and Government High School, Polibetta.
