Mughal Garden to remain closed
According to Rashtrapati Bhavan, more than 1.5 lakh people have visited the majestic garden since it was opened to the public on February 14. Open for public viewing till March 14, it will be specially opened for physically challenged persons on March 16, visually challenged persons on March 17, defence and para-military personnel on March 18 and farmers on March 19.
Exchange programme
The Japanese Foreign Ministry has decided to expand the JET programme in India and recruit more youths to advance friendly relations between the two countries. JET programme was started in 1987 with the cooperation of different countries.
German delegation
The delegation includes Head of the Department for International Economic Relations, Ministry of Economic and Labour, Joachim Kiefaber, and representatives of 16 companies from pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
Retrospective extended
Originally the month-long exhibition was to have ended on February 28.
Educational seminar
Aimed at working towards better understanding of the concept of education and information technology, the three-day meeting is being attended by several experts in the field.
