Special Correspondent
AHMEDABAD:
The City Crime Branch police, investigating the recent explosion at the railway station here, have arrested two persons in Shahpur locality. They recovered two locally manufactured AK 47-type rifles and 24 live cartridges from the house.
Police raided the house and arrested Bilal Sheikh and Abdul Ansari. At least three others, engaged in arms manufacturing, escaped.
Police claimed that the arrested admitted to having manufactured tiffin bombs. Materials used for making the bombs were found in another house.
Police were also investigating if the group had any links with the explosion at the railway station last Sunday in which 25 persons were injured.
