Prakash Karat to tour State

CHENNAI : National leaders belonging to the Communist Party of India (Marxist) will undertake a whirlwind tour of Tamil Nadu in the third week of March. According to a party press release, party general secretary Prakash Karat will participate in a function at Coimbatore on March 18 and tour Salem, Erode, and Tirupur the next day. He will address a public meeting in Chennai on March 20. Polit bureau member Sitaram Yechury will be touring Kanyakumari district on March 18 and Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi districts on March 19.
