Nominations invited for Bhagwan Mahaveer awards

CHENNAI: The Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation has invited nominations for the 11th Bhagwan Mahaveer Annual Awards for Excellence in Human Endeavour under the following categories: propagation of non-violence and vegetarianism, education and medicine, and community and social service.

The awards carry a cash prize of Rs.5 lakh each. Applications can be obtained from 11, Ponnappa Lane, P.B. No. 2983, Triplicane, Chennai - 600 005 or downloaded from www.jainsindia.org. The last date for sending the nominations is April 30.
