The best of veena maestro Seshanna

THIS TOO is about music and a great artiste of yesteryear Veene Seshanna who was also a talented composer in his own right. The MES Kalavedi, supported by the Goda Ramkumar Endowment Fund, presented a special concert featuring Seshanna's best compositions.

The concert featured one of the younger and talented veena vidwans D. Balakrishna, son of the late Doreswamy Iyengar, a noted musician who is also known to have taught the late author R.K. Narayan to play the instrument as a hobby.

Mr. Balakrishna's album of Seshanna's compositions `Veeneya Bedagu' was also released on the occasion and it will be a listener's delight.
