MANGALORE: Motorists in Mangalore are all set to drive on better roads as the Mangalore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and the Mangalore City Corporation will take up roadwork in phases in the city. MUDA Commissioner Krishnappa Poojary said seven stretches, including the Mallikatta-Bunts' Hostel Road, the Bunts' Hostel-Jyothi Circle Road, Ganapathy Temple Road, the stretch from Mohini Vilas to Nehru Road and Sharavu Temple to Hampankatta, will be taken up for improvement. City corporation Executive Engineer Suresh Babu said the corporation has taken up work on roads, including Bejai-Circuit House Road, Kuntikana-Bejai Road, Kadri Temple Road, St. Agnes-Bendoorwell Road, Urva Market-Mannagudda Road and Boloor-Ashoknagar Road.
