Acharya to visit Udupi district

He will participate in the "Jenu Utsava" at Brahmavar on Saturday

UDUPI: Medical Education and Animal Husbandry Minister V.S. Acharya will visit Udupi district from Saturday to Monday.

A press release issued by the Department of Information here on Thursday said Dr. Acharya will participate in the "Jenu Utsava" at Brahmavar at 9 a.m. on Saturday. He will leave for Byndoor at 10 a.m. and from there to Kundapur at 11 a.m. where he will receive petitions from the people.

He will participate in the function to felicitate Fisheries and Muzrai Minister B. Nagaraj Shetty in Mangalore at 4 p.m

On Sunday, he will participate in the meeting of MLAs and MLCs of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts at Bantwal at 10 a.m. He will participate in the public meetings at Barkur at 5. 30 p.m. and at Bailoor at 6.30 p.m. He will take part in the Annual Day celebrations of the Belkal School at 8 p.m. The Minister will leave for Bangalore at 10 a.m. on Monday, the release said. Housing Minister D.T. Jayakumar will visit Udupi district on Friday and Saturday.
