KOCHI: The City Police have announced traffic regulations in the city in view of the Congress meet to be held on Saturday. Parking has been banned along Sahodaran Ayappan Road, M.G. Road, Park Avenue Road, Shanmugham Road, Foreshore Road, Banerjee Road, Kaloor-Palarivattom Road, Kaloor-Kadavanthra Road, Bypass Road and Seaport-Airport Road. - Staff Reporter

Teachers flay it

KOCHI: The Association of Sree Sankaracharya University Teachers has condemned the alleged attack on its president C.M. Neelakandan by a section of university employees on Thursday. On Wednesday, the association representatives had alleged that the university authorities were conducting illegal appointments on the campus. - Staff Reporter

Cusat staff plea

Kochi: The Cochin University Employees Association has urged the university authorities to resolve the students' agitation on the campus. In a press release on Thursday, association representatives said that the university authorities should hold talks with the students to solve the issue.

Folk arts programme

Kochi: Performance of traditional folk arts will be held at Rajendra Grounds as part of the exhibition organised by the SC-ST Development Department. The programme will begin at 6 p.m.
