Special Correspondent

Bangalore: Progeon, the BPO (business process outsourcing) unit of Infosys, is setting an example by recruiting physically challenged persons.

On Saturday, the company will hold walk-in interviews for people with orthopaedic disability and hearing impairment at its Recruitment Building, SJR Towers, J.P. Nagar 3rd Phase, Bannerghatta Road (opposite Jayadeva Hospital).

Candidates have to register at the centre by 10 a.m. for an aptitude test and interview. Progeon hires people with disabilities who have a minimum of "12 plus 3" years of education, reasonable communication skills and are willing to work in shifts. It has recruited about 50 persons with disability in recent months.
