USFDA nod for Wockhardt's Ranitidine OTC version

MUMBAI: Wockhardt has received the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) approval for marketing Ranitidine 75 mg tablets as an over-the-counter (OTC) product in the U.S. market. Wockhardt's U.S. subsidiary, Wockhardt USA Inc., is expected to launch the anti-ulcer drug shortly, says a release. Ranitidine is the generic version of Pfizer's Zantac 75 mg tablets.
