TDSAT asks BSNL to repay Rs. 5 cr. to Idea

NEW DELHI: The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal on Friday asked BSNL to refund Rs. 5 crore to private operator Idea Cellular Ltd. The decade-old case pertains to Idea Cellular, then known as Tata Communications, which sought lease of long distance telephone lines from BSNL for its service in Andhra Pradesh for one year.
