AES Corp. to invest $1.2 b in power plant

MUMBAI: Close on the heels of a major power accord between India and the U.S., American power company AES Corporation on Friday announced an investment of $1.2 billion for setting up a coal-fired 1,000 MW plant in Chhattisgarh.
