Thrissur: Television and other visual media cannot kill radio, writer C. Radhakrishnan said here on Friday. Inaugurating a workshop on writing plays for radio, organised by All India Radio and Ankanam Samskarika Samithy, Mr. Radhakrishnan said that radio was currently enjoying a revival. "Love for radio is undying because people have a natural affinity for sound. On the other hand, serials, which are among the popular programmes on TV, are putting off people with repetitive stories," he said. Twenty-five writers are taking part in the three-day workshop.
