Two policemen killed in naxal attack

Bokaro (Jharkhand): At least two policemen were killed on Friday night and another was injured in a naxal attack on a police outpost and a CISF camp on the Bokaro-Dhanbad border in Bokaro district, about 25 km from district headquarters, a top police officer said here.

Additional Director-General of Police G.S. Rath told PTI in Ranchi that two policemen manning the outpost were killed in the attack.

The naxalites also looted three rifles from them, he added.

The casualty figure in the CISF camp was not yet known.

Around 200 naxals carried out the simultaneous attack, police said. — PTI
