Sandalwood tree felled

Bangalore: Thieves felled a sandalwood tree and attempted to take away logs from the Forman Training Institute (FTI) grounds, off Goruguntepalya, in RMC Yard police station limits in the early hours of Friday.

When the security personnel tried to challenge the thieves, they hurled stones at them and escaped, the police said.

On a complaint by Administrative Officer of FTI K.C. Sharma, the RMC Yard police have registered a case.
