Nine injured in blasts in Kashmir
Srinagar:
Nine persons, including three policemen, were injured and a police vehicle damaged in two blasts in Srinagar and Anantnag districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, the police said. Militants hurled a grenade on a police patrolling party outside Chhatti Padshahi Gurdwara in Rainawari area here. It exploded on the main road wounding three policemen and six pedestrains.
Militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad, in a statement, claimed responsibility for the blast.
At Takiabal in Anantnag district, Hizbul Mujahideen militants triggered an improvised explosive device. PTI
