15 hurt in accident

MADURAI: In a multiple collision, 15 persons sustained injuries on the Madurai-Dindigul highway near Samayanallur on Saturday.

According to police sources, cargo autorickshaw hit a stationary lorry. A lorry and a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation bus, which were trailing the autorickshaw also collided one behind the other.

Babu, driver of the autorickshaw, and 14 others travelling in the bus were injured. They were admitted to Government Rajaji Hospital. The Samayanallur police have registered a case.

`Plan 100' till March 31

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has extended `Plan 100' post-paid service, originally offered to the staff of Central, State Government and public sector units to all customers.

The offer is for a limited period of one month ending March 31.

However, the general customers need to pay the notified security deposit depending on requirement of facilities such as STD/ISD.
