CUDDALORE: As part of its drive to expand the green cover in the tsunami-affected coastal villages in the district, the Isha Yoga Centre has planted 25,000 saplings during the past six months. The Centre through its Rural Rejuvenation Programme and Project Green Hands had embarked upon creating awareness among the coastal community to raise and nurture as many trees as possible. According to Anand, coordinator of the Project Green Hands, the centre had chosen 10 native species, and had also initiated the local community in raising the nursery. The project volunteers would replace the withered saplings
