NEW DELHI : Sasmita Malik pumped in four goals as India defeated Kyrgyzstan 7-0 to open its Group III Asian Football Confederation (AFC) under-19 women's football championship qualifying tournament on a high note at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Sunday.

Sasmita's four goals came in 37th, 46th, 70th and 78th minutes as India dominated hapless Kyrgyzstan right from the start.

Medio Lal Varmoi Hmar had put India ahead in the 11th minute and then shot her second in the 17th minute. Varmoi rounded off the tally in the 81st minute.
