CHENNAI: The second edition of Crossfire, an intercollegiate debate competition for management students and launched by HR Innovators, will be organised by D.G. Vaishnav College and Tamil Nadu Institute of Labour Studies. The programme will cover Kochi, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Madurai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai. The regional rounds will be held before Thursday and the finals will be held at D.G. Vaishnav College on March 11. Students from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Singapore are expected to participate. There is no limit to the number of teams a college can send. The last date for registration is Wednesday. Virtusa, a U.S.-based software company is the main sponsor, while Sathyam Cinemas and Thomas International are the co-sponsors. Thomas Assessments will do a free psychometric profiling for participants and the audience. Participants must pay an entry fee of Rs. 500 payable as demand draft in favour of HR Innovators at Chennai.
