Five-year-old girl run over by water tanker belonging to MCH

Hyderabad:
Five-year-old K. Vijayalakshmi, a resident of Janmabhoomi Colony in Kukatpally, was crushed under the wheels of an MCH water tanker on Saturday. According to the Kukatpally police, Vijayalakshmi, daughter of Laxmaiah, was playing in front of her house when the tragedy struck. Her body was handed over to relatives after post-mortem at Gandhi Hospital. In another incident, a seven-year-old boy, Y. Chiranjeevi, was killed after being hit by a two-wheeler near his house in Gangaputra Colony under the Kukatpally police station limits on Saturday. The police said Chiranjeevi, son of Ganesh, was on his way to a nearby shop when the two-wheeler hit from behind.
The boy was brought dead to Gandhi Hospital.
