Gold chain snatched

BANGALORE: A man snatched a gold chain from a person who was boarding a bus in Malleswaram Police Station limits on Saturday.

According to the police, Vijay Kumar, resident of Prakash Nagar, was waiting for a bus near Mohammedan Block when the man started a conversation with the former and told him that he too was on his way to Prakash Nagar.

When the victim was boarding the bus, the man snatched the chain estimated at Rs. 8,000 from Vijay Kumar and fled.

The police have registered a case. Investigation is on.
