Good response to BMTC service

BANGALORE: The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation has been getting good response for its "Bangalore Round" by the "Curitoba" model air-conditioned buses and by the "Parisaravahini" buses.

The daily trip commences from the Kempegowda bus station at 8.45 a.m. and concludes at the same point at 8 p.m.

The trip covers all places of religious and tourist importance in the city, including the Tipu Palace, Bull Temple, Lalbagh, Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium and the ISKCON Temple.

The fare for adults in the air-conditioned buses for Silver Class is Rs. 200 (weekdays) and Rs. 250 (weekends) and Rs. 300 and Rs. 350, respectively, in the Gold Class.

The price for children aged between six and 12 in the Silver Class is Rs. 100 (weekdays) and Rs. 125 (weekend), while it is Rs. 150 and Rs. 175, respectively, in the Gold Class.

The price for adults and children for a trip in the Parisaravahini bus is Rs. 100 and Rs. 50, respectively.
