NEW DELHI: Expressing happiness over the sensitivity shown by the youth towards the nationwide campaign against female foeticide, Union Minister for Women and Child Development Renuka Chaudhary on Monday said there was no dearth of laws in the country but they needed to be implemented properly and strictly. Speaking at the end of the month-long inter-college debate on female foeticide launched by the All-India Mahila Congress here, Ms. Chaudhary announced that teams of lawyers would be deputed soon to educate people about women's rights and laws. Anindya of Hans Raj College and Kulbhushan Tripathi of Hindu College won the first prize in the inter-college debate. The second prize went to Aarpita Bahadur of Gargi College and Swati of Shyamlal College. The third prize went to Nishi Kumari of Rajdhani College and Raksha of Lady Shri Ram College.
