Think differently, says Pitroda
Staff Reporter
TELECOM EXPERT: Sam Pitroda addressing a session of Congress workers in Kochi. Vipin Chandran
KOCHI:
National Knowledge Commission Chairman Sam Pitroda has told Congress men to think out of the box and focus on ideas for transformation of society.
Addressing party leaders and workers at the State conference of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee here on Tuesday, Dr. Pitroda appealed to them to think differently and break ``the colonial mindset.''
Concern for the people should be at the bottom of all endeavours, he said, as he appealed for the utilisation of knowledge for job creation. Knowledge should be utilised to change institutions.
He said the meet was a signal to the people that the Congress was dedicated to going forward as a strong and united entity. Dr. Pitroda said that India could not stay isolated from the processes of globalisation and free market economy.
