Workshop on pottery making

CHENNAI: The Government Museum, Chennai, is organising a workshop on `wheel-thrown pottery and terracotta making' for school students on March 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

S. Devadoss, lecturer, along with students of the Government College of Fine Arts, will give lectures on and demonstrate the processes.

The workshop, designed for students in the 14 to 16 age group, is aimed at promoting the spirit of enquiry and providing practical knowledge on milestones in history and progress in civilisations.
