Smart card launched

CHENNAI: A smart card jointly developed by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and MyTVS has been launched in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

A press release on the launch of the MyTVS Club HP Smart1 card here said the customers could avail themselves of the benefits of e-payments, including purchase of automobile fuel, accessories, and utilities at HPCL's speedmart convenience stores. It also entitled car owners to the complete services under the existing Club HP Smart1 card and use the round-the-clock emergency services of MyTVS. Initially, the card will be available across the State and Pondicherry. The card is priced at Rs.365 a car for a year. ICICI Bank's commercial cards division will be promoting it.
