HUBLI: Within three days after the Karnataka High Court took them to task, the Hubli police have managed to trace a minor girl who had allegedly kidnapped five months ago. In a press release issued here on Tuesday, Commissioner of Police Narayan Nadamani said the police traced Feroze Allabaksh (24), who allegedly kidnapped the minor girl. The Commissioner said the accused and the hostage were traced on Monday in Belgaum and were brought to Hubli. During interrogation, the accused reportedly said the minor girl went with him voluntarily. The accused has been produced before the court, he said. Doddappa Bakale of Old Hubli filed a complaint in Old Hubli Police Station on September 20, alleging that his minor daughter had been kidnapped by Feroze. In the complaint, he had charged the mother of the accused and his aunt with abetment. But when there was no trace of his daughter even after months, Mr. Bikale moved the High Court complaining that the Old Hubli Police had failed to trace his daughter.
