Telecom tariff reporting norms relaxed

NEW DELHI: The special tariff schemes offered by telecom companies to bulk customers need no longer be reported to regulator TRAI within seven days of their introduction, but it would suffice to do so every quarter. Relaxing the reporting norms for tariff plans, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India on Tuesday said such special tariffs for bulk customers would also not be counted among the 25 plans that an operator is empowered to introduce.
