KOLLAM: The two-day 28th State conference of the Kerala Departmental Sanskrit Teachers Federation will be inaugurated by Labour Minister Babu Divakaran here on March 9. At a press conference, general secretary of the federation Surendran Kadaikodu said that the conference was being held at a time when Sanskrit education was facing several challenges in the State.

He said that the delegates session of the conference will be inaugurated by Kollam Mayor N. Padmalochanan. The Sanskrit conference on March 10 will be inaugurated by Minister for Water Resources Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. The educational conference will be inaugurated by Education Minister E.T. Mohammed Basheer.
