CHENNAI: Southern Railway will run a special train between Chennai and Nagercoil to clear the extra rush. Train No. 0605 will leave the Egmore station at 8.30 pm on March 9 and reach Nagercoil at noon the following day. In the return direction, train No. 0606 will leave Nagercoil at 1.30 p.m. on March 12 and arrive in Chennai at 4.30 a.m. the next day. The trains will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Tindivanam, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchirappalli, Dindigul, Kodaikkanal Road, Madurai, Tirumangalam, Virudunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachchi and Tirunelveli. Train no. 0606 will stop at Mambalam as well. The composition of the trains is: one AC 2-tier, two AC 3-tier, 10 Sleeper Class, four General Second Class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches. Advance reservation will commence on March 8, a railway release said.
