Inter exam: two officials suspended
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
Two Intermediate examination officials found themselves in the red on Tuesday after they allotted students one particular centre over and above its capacity.
The officials, chief superintendent C. Taraka Ram and assistant superintendent Sadanand, were recommended for suspension by District Collector Arvind Kumar on charges of allotting a large number of students to the Sree Chaitanya Junior College at S.R. Nagar for the ongoing Inter exams.
According to an official release, the Collector, responding to complaints from parents, had visited the Sree Chaitanya College to find that most of the students were writing their exams sitting in the cellar and even in the parking lot. Warning that such laxity on the part of officials would not be spared, Mr. Arvind Kumar immediately recommended the suspension of the two officials.
