Government keen on resolving CET issue

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Tuesday said the State Government is prepared to hold discussions with the managements of private and professional colleges on the contentious issues regarding the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to undergraduate medical, dental and engineering courses. The Government is keen on settling the issues amicably, he told presspersons after witnessing the passing out parade of the 24th team of the armed police constables here.

The managements opposed the move to bring in legislation to fix seat matrix and fee structure for admissions to medical, engineering and dental courses.
