KOCHI: The bodies of a woman and her child were found in a well in the compound of their house at Thengode near Kakkanad on Tuesday morning. Sunitha, 26, wife of Zakkeer, Pazhangattu House, near Navodaya Studio, and her two-and-a-half-year-old son Abdul Razak were missing in the morning, according to the police. In the search, her clothes were found floating in the well. Both of them were dead by the time the bodies were brought out. The bodies were taken to Medical College Hospital, Alappuzha, for post-mortem examination. Sunitha hails from Kaippadamukal near Kakkanad.
Condition of youth stable
The condition of Ajeesh, who was injured in an attack at Udayamperoor on Monday, is reported to be stable. He was admitted to the Specialists Hospital with injuries. He has been placed under observation. Kapil, a friend of his, was killled in the attack. Two unexploded bombs, which were recovered from the site, have been sent for examination.
