KSRTC bus runs over motorcyclist

Thiruvananthapuram: A 27-year-old youth, Ajeshkumar, of Kunjuveedu Lane, Punnapuram, was killed when the motorbike he was riding was knocked down by a KSRTC bus in front of the Corporation office on Tuesday morning. He is survived by his wife Rohini.

Death

One person was killed and another injured when the motorbike on which they were riding was hit by a car near Kaduvapally, Kallambalam, on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified by Medical College hospital authorities as Naseem (28) of Kannanellore, Kollam. Gopu (26), also of Kollam, has been admitted to MCH with injuries.

Abdul Salam (55) was killed when he slipped and fell from a tree on Tuesday.

In a freak accident, Mohammed Shafi, who was riding a motorbike along with his three children, was injured when a consignment of water tanks in a lorry toppled and fell on him.
