Vote bank politics

The appointment of the Justice U.C. Banerjee Committee into the Godhra tragedy even while the Nanavati-Shah Commission was probing the Gujarat riots was vote bank politics. The outcome therefore does not surprise anyone.

New Delhi

K.J. Rao,
Secunderabad

K. Natarajan,
Thiruvananthapuram
