Letters to the Editor
This refers to the editorial, `Ms. Bachchan and offices of profit' (March 8). The Election Commission has to look beyond the Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP, Jaya Bachchan, while imposing on the people constitutional bindings. Simultaneously, Ms. Bachchan should have taken enough care to act within the legal limits irrespective of any such discrepancy existing anywhere. Let the authorities set the constitutional parameters in more clear terms if required with the help of an amendment.
